おい、Hacker Newsで面白いネタがあったぞ!

Hey buddy, 今日のHacker Newsで気になったやつをパパッと共有するわ。相変わらずテック業界はカオスだな。特にAI関連で面白い(というか少し怖い)話が多かったよ。

1. ChatGPTが外部サイトの行動を追跡?

まずはこれ、ChatGPTが広告コレクター経由でユーザーの行動を把握してるって話。みんな「やっぱりか」って反応だけど、コメント欄では「GoogleやAppleが端末をリモートで支配してるのと同じで、もう逃げ場はない」なんて冷めた意見が目立ってたわ。

2. 「ZuckOff」っていうメタのメガネ検知アプリ

これ笑えるんだけど、ZuckOffっていうアプリが話題になってる。Metaのスマートグラスを検知して教えてくれるやつなんだけど、コメント欄で「盗撮が当たり前になるなんて社会的に受け入れがたい」とか、逆に「防犯カメラと何が違うんだ?」っていう議論が白熱してた。

3. サムスンのHBM4メモリ増産

サムスンがHBM4 DRAMの生産を倍増させるってニュース。AIブームでデータセンターのGPU需要が爆発してるから、とにかくメモリが足りないんだよな。コメント欄には「過去5年間でGPUの計算能力がCPUの全歴史分を超えた」なんてヤバい統計も出てて、資本投下の規模が異常だわ。

4. スノーデン・アーカイブの現在

スノーデンのアーカイブがどうなったかっていう記事。NSAがSQLクラスターでメールをインデックス化してたっていう話が出てきて、政府の監視能力についての議論がめちゃくちゃ盛り上がってた。結局、内部告発って歴史の中でどう扱われるのか、考えさせられる内容だったな。

5. Python Workersが正式リリース

開発者向けの話だと、CloudflareのPython WorkersがGA(一般公開)になったぞ。これ結構待ってた人多いんじゃないかな。WebAssembly環境でPythonがもっと楽に動かせるようになるのはデカいよな。

6. 昔のゲームのパズル設定資料

最後はちょっと癒やし枠。『Grim Fandango』の1996年のパズル設計資料が共有されてた。当時のゲーム作りがどれだけ緻密だったか分かるし、今のAIゲーム開発とは全然違う「人間による設計の美学」みたいなのがあって、読んでて面白かったわ。
